George is a director and dramaturg.

He recently opened Slugs by Tobias Graham at the Pleasance Courtyard, Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

He has worked extensively as an associate director in the West End, at the RSC, and regionally. Selected associate director credits include: Teeth ‘N’ Smiles by David Hare, directed by Daniel Raggett, starring Rebecca Lucy Taylor (Duke of York’s); As You Like It by William Shakespeare, directed by Ralph Fiennes, starring Harriet Walter and Gloria Obianyo (Theatre Royal Bath); Edward II by Christopher Marlowe, directed by Daniel Raggett, starring Daniel Evans (Swan Theatre, RSC); A View from the Bridge by Arthur Miller, directed by Lindsay Posner, starring Dominic West and Kate Fleetwood (Theatre Royal Haymarket).

He has also directed at drama schools including Birmingham Royal Conservatoire and Drama Studio London.
